Checking your budget when launching a product
When we set out to launch & market our product on one day, we wanted to keep our budget as low as possible. Until now (10.30 am), we spent a whopping zero Euros by exclusively using free services
- tumblr.com for all blogging needs
- Piwik for web analytics and conversion tracking
- Skype for intra-project communication
- Facebook, Twitter, ping.fm and assorted tools (Tweetdeck &c.) for shouting out our status
- … and of course Google’s tools (Mail, Reader, &c.) for anything else
While Niels is writing the hypnosis script for our product (on his free text editor, of course) and searching for (again, free) music, I’ll be off to browse the Creative Commons for (free) artwork to be featured on the product packaging. See you then!
